JSL Mechanical Services Ltd.

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

This notice explains how information is handled when you use jslmechanical.ca, contact JSL Mechanical Services Ltd. in Yellowknife, request service or send us an employment inquiry.

JSL uses Google Analytics automatically on supported public pages, subject to the browser preferences described below. Optional Meta marketing tracking stays off unless you allow it through Privacy settings. You can browse the site, contact us and request service without a tracking popup or consent form.

Information you choose to provide

When you contact us or request service, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, service address and details about your equipment, property or project. We use the information to respond to your inquiry and discuss or arrange the service you request. Sending an inquiry does not by itself confirm an appointment.

Our careers form asks for your name, phone number, email address and trade or position. You may also provide your experience, qualifications and availability. We use this information to respond to your employment inquiry.

Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not include payment-card details, identification documents, medical information or other sensitive personal details in these forms.

Service requests through Jobber

Our service request form is provided by Jobber and loads automatically on pages where it is embedded, including the contact and Navien rebate pages. Loading it connects your browser to Jobber and its service providers, which receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information and form-page activity. Information you enter in the form is handled through Jobber and, when submitted, made available to JSL to respond to your request.

Jobber may use cookies and other technologies for its services. Its processing is described in Jobber’s privacy policy. You can choose to call 867-447-2856 or email info@jslmechanical.ca instead. When enabled, the Residential Service Request form’s separate Google Analytics integration measures form activity and completed requests. Jobber may use analytics cookies and send Google browser and other technical data, cookie identifiers, full page and referral URLs, and campaign details. This integration operates independently of JSL’s website analytics code. Turning website analytics off in Privacy settings does not turn off Jobber’s own analytics. We have not verified whether Jobber independently respects Global Privacy Control.

Website hosting and form security

Webflow hosts this website and processes submissions from the careers form. Hosting and delivery services receive technical information needed to deliver the site, such as IP addresses, browser details and requests for pages and files. See Webflow’s privacy policy.

The careers form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical browser and network signals for security. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. These hosting, form and security functions remain active whether website analytics or marketing tracking is on or off.

Website analytics and optional marketing

Google Analytics measures visits to supported JSL public pages, selected request and telephone-link clicks, and when a supported service-request form embed enters view. A click or form view does not confirm a submitted request. The careers page is measured only as a page visit. Google receives technical information such as your IP address, browser details, page information, referrer site and cookie identifiers. JSL’s website analytics code supplies fixed page labels, page addresses without query strings or fragments, referrer origins and a limited set of campaign labels. It does not read form contents or set user IDs. Google advertising features are disabled for this integration. This website measurement is separate from Jobber’s embedded form services.

If you opt in, Meta Pixel measures page visits and selected campaign clicks to help measure and improve JSL’s Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta receives technical information such as your IP address, browser details, page URL, referrer and cookie identifiers, and may link this information with your Meta account. JSL’s integration uses manual-only events, does not send form contents or supply advanced-matching data, and does not treat clicking a quote link as a completed service request. Marketing tracking is not loaded on the careers page.

You can turn website analytics off or on in the footer’s Privacy settings. Turning it off disables further measurement by JSL’s controller and attempts to remove its accessible first-party _ga and _ga_DDZM8D44B7 cookies. It does not erase information Google already received. JSL’s website analytics cookies are configured for up to 180 days without extending that lifetime on subsequent events. See Google’s privacy policy.

Changing your choice

Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to turn website analytics off or on and to allow or turn off Meta marketing tracking separately. The settings expand only when you open them; there is no automatic tracking popup. Closing settings does not change your preferences or give marketing consent. Preferences are saved separately in this browser’s local storage with the preference, version and time. A saved analytics off preference remains until you change it or clear this site’s browser data. Existing analytics refusals are respected until replaced by a newer analytics on preference. The marketing choice applies for up to 180 days. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps JSL’s website Google Analytics and Meta integrations off. This statement does not cover Jobber’s separate analytics.

Turning marketing tracking off stops future tracking by this integration and attempts to remove its accessible first-party _fbp and _fbc cookies. It does not erase information Meta already received. Preferences apply to the browser and website address where they were made. Analytics stays off when browser storage cannot be read and written reliably. If an analytics off preference cannot be saved, it still turns analytics off for that page and the status message warns that it may not persist. A marketing choice made with blocked storage applies only to the current page. These controls do not change Jobber, Webflow or other third-party services’ own privacy controls. Google’s and Meta’s privacy policies are linked from Privacy settings.

Service providers and processing locations

Information is handled by JSL and the providers used for the relevant activity, including Jobber for service requests, Webflow for hosting and careers-form submissions, Cloudflare for form security, Google for enabled website analytics and Jobber’s separate form analytics, and Meta when you allow marketing tracking. Email and telephone inquiries also pass through the providers used to deliver those communications.

Service providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where different laws may apply. Their linked privacy notices describe their practices. Contact JSL if you have questions about a particular inquiry or record.

Records and privacy requests

Contact JSL to ask about the information associated with your service or employment inquiry, how it is used, or how long it is kept. You can also request access or a correction, ask to withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern. Legal and recordkeeping obligations may limit what can be deleted. Withdrawing information needed to respond to a request may affect our ability to handle that request.

For privacy questions, email info@jslmechanical.ca with “Privacy request” in the subject, or call 867-447-2856. Please do not send identity documents or other sensitive information with an initial request.

You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada for information about privacy rights and concerns.
